    When will YouTube Channel Handle be available?

    This time Google is sending emails to the Creators and informing them of Handle. Handle will be available in creator studio in coming weeks. And YouTube will notify via email that your handle is available in creator studio. Most likely, YouTube will allot handle to the Creators from 14th November, 2022 onwards.

    How to select handle for your YouTube Channel?

    You can select handle in Creator Studio. In coming 2 or 3 weeks handle selection will be enabled. If you already have customized URL, then YouTube will select it for you. But you can create your own handle. You can your handle from suggested ones.

    Which channels are eligible for YouTube Handles?

    There is no condition for handles. Handles will be available to all channels whether monetized or not. For custom URL, there was condition of minimum 100 subscribers. Now, customized URL has been ended. YouTube Handles are taking place of customized URLs.

    How to create your own YouTube Handles?

    Here are the Google guidelines for YouTube Handles:

    1. Characters of handle will be 3 to 30.
    2. Handle will be alphanumeric (alphabets and numbers).
    3. Underscores (_), hyphens (-) and full stop (.) can be used.
    4. Must be unique and not already used.
    5. Handle is nor URL neither phone number.
    6. Handle must follow community guidelines of YouTube.
